Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor who hails from Bahrain's Manama was brought up in a multicultural family. Her parents are Malaysian as well as the Sri Lankan. Their father Elroy Fernandez is from Sri Lanka. She is the younger of two brothers and a brother who is older. It was because of the conflict in Sri Lanka that her parents chose to move to Bahrain. Prakash Padukone is her father and a former badminton star with international recognition. Her mother is a travel agent.
